Becoming parents has been a dream close to our hearts for a long time. As we begin this next chapter of our lives together, one thing has become abundantly clear: we’re ready to grow our family.
We’re pursuing the path of surrogacy—a journey filled with both significant costs and meaningful complexities. While this is a road we’ve chosen with care and excitement, it requires us to take thoughtful baby steps—each one bringing us closer to building the family we’ve always envisioned.
Recently, we said goodbye to what we lovingly called the McMansion—and settled into a beautiful penthouse in Washington, D.C. In doing so, we realized just how much stuff we had—and how little of it we truly needed. We now find ourselves with full hearts, a cozy home, and no room (or desire) for material gifts.
Rather than traditional wedding presents, we invite those who feel inspired to support the next chapter of our love story. A contribution to our Family Fund is not expected, but would be deeply appreciated as we take these early steps toward parenthood. To help bring this dream to life, we’ve already transferred all of our own “Family Fund” savings into this account—our way of jumpstarting the process and showing just how excited we are to continue this journey sooner rather than later.
After the wedding, we plan to continue using this website as a window into our journey—sharing updates, milestones, and the joys and challenges that come with growing our family. We hope it becomes a place where love, community, and connection continue to flourish long after the last dance.
